24 weeks...

So I read a blog that updates her weekly pregnancy progress in a question/answer format so I'm going to try it!

I'm 24 Weeks!!

Pregnancy Highlights this week: Sweet Baby has started moving SO much this week! I LOVE IT!!

How Far Along: 24 Weeks

Size of baby: Sweet Baby is just over a pound - about the size of an ear of corn

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained about 11 lbs

Maternity Clothes: I wear maternity jeans, sweats, & track pants mostly. I can still wear maybe 2 pair of my regular jeans but not comfortably at all... I have never really cared for maternity tops because I think they make you look bigger than you really are (most of the time) so I'm still wearing regular tops....

Gender: ITS A GIRL!!! (name still up in the air!)
Movement: She is VERY active - especially in the early afternoon and at night. She wakes me up sometimes with all her wiggling around.

Sleep: I sleep so, so... My hips hurt a lot because of sleeping on my sides so that wakes me up some.... Alli kicking me in the face doesn't help either! ha!

What I miss: Sleeping on my belly mostly...

Cravings: Funny you should ask... Last night Jeff stopped and got me a frozen custard with strawberries because I has been wanting one ALL DAY!! Mmmm....and it hit the spot!

Symptoms: She is very low so I feel a lot of weight in my lower belly...I've also been getting a lot of nose bleeds lately.... Ugh....

Best Moment this week: Feeling our sweet little baby kick on the outside! Jeff couldn't feel her but I could... Maybe it's because I could feel her almost going through my skin! ha!

We did have our 24 week glucose test Monday... I haven't heard anything so I'm going with no news is good news!

We did have another ultrasound done to make sure she was growing because like I said in a couple posts ago, she was measuring about 2-3 weeks small. She had grown what she should have in the weeks between this ultrasound and the one before so that was good but my dr wants to do a LEVEL 2 ultrasound to make sure everything looks ok. He said from the LEVEL 1 ultrasound they have done twice now everything looks perfect (anatomy, fluid, placenta) but just to me sure we will have an ultrasound March 1st. Please say a prayer for our sweet little baby. We would appreciate it more than you know!! I'm pretty nervous but am trusting God has it all in His hands.... If only we could fast forward to March....This waiting is killing me! :)

Winter Wonderland...

What a crazy winter we have had so far! The past two months we have gotten more snow than we EVER get! I AM LOVING IT! Well, I say that because I don't have to get out and go to work and Jeff has gotten to stay home with us a few days.... Here are some pics over the last couple of weeks....

Couldn't keep her poor eyes open after a loooong day of playing...

22 weeks...

Well, I am now 22 weeks and 2 days preggo! This go around it has gone by so fast! I'll catch you up once again on all the pregnancy info & dates... Then you have my word I will try my best to post at least once a week!! ha!

Oct. 2- Took preggo test... POSITIVE!

Oct.6- Had lab work done...Woo hoo!

Oct. 22- Our first ultrasound....Ahh...sweet relief! Baby's heartbeat was around 150s. Once again measured about a week early. (I always measured early with Alli too...

Nov. 13- Started spotting...UGH! Changed my Nov. 16 appt. (to hear the heartbeat) to Nov. 15th to see what was causing it.

Nov. 15- Heartbeat was great! Talk about a worried mama!! We had another ultrasound & everything looked good so the dr put me on "pelvic rest" for a while. Poor Jeff! ha! I stopped spotting about a week later and still don't know what was causing it. ???

Dec. 4- Felt Sweet baby move for the first time!!! I actually woke up in the middle of the night to little tiptoeing across the inside of my belly & then fell back asleep. It wasn't until Jamie (my sis) asked me the next day if I had felt the baby yet that I remembered. I think that's what they call "pregnancy brain".

Jan. 3- Routine visit to listen to baby's heartbeat. 160s-170s.

Jan. 24- IT'S A GIRL!!!

            Sweet baby is measuring a little small (about 2 & a half weeks) so we will have another ultrasound on Feb 14 to make sure she is growing like she should. So please keep our little sweet baby in your prayers. Alli was really small when she was born so the dr thinks this little tike is going to be really small to and that is why she is measuring that way. I also have my glucose test that day! Yahoo!
