First Sleep Over

We had our first sleepover a few weeks ago. Sorry I haven't blogged about it until now but hey better late than never right?? We stayed with my mom and dad because Jeff has an all night softball tournament with some friends. Normally I would have gone but the mommy in me thought if we are both up all night who is going to be the lucky one to stay up all day as well to watch Alli. Of course, I figured I would be the lucky one so we opted for Nana and PePaw's house. :-) We had so much fun!

Yesterday was my last day of work so I promised everyone at work I would start blogging more so here's to keeping promises.... :-)

Lets see...what to blog about.....

Currently I am praising the Lord that I only had to work for one week instead of two, but I am still getting paid for two! YAY! Now I get to wake up in the morning and play with my little monkey for as long as I want. (Or until she decides shes tired. ha!) I am also praising the Lord for allowing me the opportunity to stay home with Alli when we didn't know if I would be able to. It has been just a blessing!

We also have hit some new milestones:

~Alli giggled for the first time a few nights ago. I was getting ready to feed her and here some little noises coming from my little one so I looked down and saw her with this big cheesy grin on her face letting out the sweetest giggle I've ever heard. She must like mommy's booby milk. ha.

~She can also lay on her belly and raise her head to look around. So cute! Tummy time only lasts for about 5 mins though cause Alli does not like being on her belly. We are working on it though cause every time we go to the dr he tells us to give her plenty of tummy time. Ugh...I hate it when she cries...

~Alli also LOVES taking a bath!! She splashed ALL over the place. We sing "if you're happy and you know it" but we change the words to "if you're happy and you know it splash around. " She likes that. She just grins and grins when we sing it. If you look closely you can see the splashing water....

On the other hand she DOES NOT LOVE her car seat! She screams when we put her in it. Poor baby...I told her she was going to have to get used to it cause she has another 10 months to ride in it. ha

And I just have to share this picture....It is my favorite so far of Jeff & Alli. I found them like this after my shower while we were at our family Reunion in Hot Springs....

1st day at daycare

Yesterday was Alli's first day at daycare. Ok so she is not in real daycare, she is at Aunt Jamie's daycare. ha. It was a VERY hard day for me. Luckily, I have the best boss in the world and she is letting me work 11-6. Jeff gets off at 3:00 so he brings her up to the bank after he picks her up to visit. So that only leaves me about 4 & 1/2 hours without my baby girl. Aunt Jamie is the best. She is watching her for the next 2 weeks until I can stay home with her for good. I'm counting down the days. Only 8 days, 2 hours, & 26 mins to go!! YAY!! Jamie has also been writing down all the stuff Alli has been doing like when she eats, changes her diaper, plays with Laney & Sadie, etc. It makes me very thankful to have someone so great taking care of my little one.

Naturals game

Last Friday night Alli got to go to her first Naturals baseball game & concert. We had such a good time. We went with Aunt Jamie, Uncle Brandon, Uncle Dustin, Laney, & Sadie. It started off SUPER HOT then got SUPER COLD! Ok so it probably wasn't cold to anyone but me and Alli. Poor baby.... I think she got my body temperature. She DOES NOT like cold air hitting her. This is totally fine by me cause it means we will be winning the battle of temperature in the car from now on. Sorry Jeff! Here's some pics of our big night....
