The Walkers: November 2008

This Thanksgiving marks the first Thanksgiving I will not spend with the Gibson clan. It is very hard for me because I look forward to this time every year. My grandma found out last Monday evening that she had shingles so after many calls to doctors Jeff and I have decided to not head to the country this year. L One doctor says it’s totally fine to be around her while I am pregnant, another says no, and yet another says to ask my OB/GYN, but he wouldn’t recommend it. So, because I will not be able to tell all my wonderful family all that I am thankful for this year, I will post it here. Germ Free!

1. Thank you Jesus for dieing on the cross for our sins. One of my favorite songs says, “We know not the day or the hour, or the moments in between, but we know the end of the story when we’ll see Your glory.” Thank you Lord for giving us that HOPE!

2. Thank you Jeff! You are an amazing, amazing man! I love being with you everyday. I could not imagine being as happy anywhere else than with you. You make me laugh more than anyone can. I know if you are half the dad you are husband you’ll be great!You mean the world to me! I LOVE YOU!

3. I am also thankful for out little one growing in my belly. I can’t wait to hold you for the first time! I love you already with all my heart.

4. Thank you to my wonderful family. ALL OF YOU! I am so thankful to have grown up in a Christian family and to be loved by such wonderful people. I look forward to the holidays every year!

5. Thank you mom and dad. (I know they are family but they fall into a whole other category) Thank you for raising me to fear the Lord and to trust Him. You have been great role models in my life and the best friends anyone could ask for.

6. Jamie and Dustin~ You are the best brother and sister in the whole wide world. I always have a blast hanging out with you two. Thanks for always having my back!

7. Thank you Walker family. You have been so wonderful to welcome me into your family. Thank you for being so good to me and thank you for raising Jeff into the man he is. You are the worlds best in-laws!

8. ALL my wonderful nieces and nephews: Chanci, Navi, Jace, William, Laney, Drew, Sadie, and Brooklea. I love you all more than you will ever know!

9. Thank you all my wonderful friends. Those from school and those I’ve only known a few years. I love you all and am so thankful to have you guys in my life. (Sorry I do not have a picture of all of my friends. If I did you know I would post them!)
